The new 26 TD BATTLER represents the next evolution of Daiwa Australia’s flagship light tackle rod series - the greatest rod Daiwa has ever built.

Designed specifically for Australian anglers, it combines Daiwa’s most advanced rod technologies to deliver exceptional sensitivity, power and responsiveness across a wide range of freshwater and estuary techniques.

At its core is an ultra-premium SVF Compile-X Nanoplus graphite blank, delivering an outstanding powerto- weight ratio with crisp, lightweight actions. Daiwa’s 3DX and X45X Full Shield technologies further enhance blank performance by reducing twist, increasing lifting power and maximising energy transfer during casting and fighting fish.

The latest AGS carbon fibre guides reduce overall weight while improving sensitivity, casting performance and line control. Completing the package is Daiwa’s lightweight ZERO SEAT reel seat, providing outstanding comfort, balance and a direct connection between angler and rod, allowing subtle bites and lure movements to be transmitted with incredible clarity.

From ultralight finesse presentations to heavy-duty baitcast models for oversized glidebaits, the expanded lineup has been carefully refined to suit Australia’s most popular techniques and target species.
